Responsibilities Prepare and assemble sandwiches according to established recipes and customer preferences, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met. Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process customer orders accurately and efficiently. Manage food service customer orders from start to finish, including taking orders, handling cash register operations, and processing transactions with precision. Maintain a clean, sanitized workspace by following food safety protocols, sanitation standards, and proper food handling procedures. Assist in operating kitchen equipment safely and effectively, including slicing machines, toasters, ovens, and other food prep tools. Engage with customers in a friendly manner, upselling menu items to enhance their experience and increase sales. Support overall store cleanliness by bussing tables, sanitizing workstations, and ensuring a welcoming environment for all guests. Skills Proven experience in food preparation within quick service or fast food restaurants is highly desirable. Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for efficient transaction processing. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders quickly while maintaining quality standards. Demonstrated ability in customer service, with a focus on creating positive dining experiences. Familiarity with food safety management practices and proper sanitation procedures. Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Basic math skills for cash handling, making change, and managing sales transactions accurately. Previous experience in retail sales transactions or grocery store environments is a plus.
