Deli Department Team Member Pino's Food Market is seeking a reliable, customer-focused individual to join our deli team! We are looking for someone who takes pride in providing excellent customer service, maintaining high food safety standards, and working in a fast-paced team environment. Major Duties & Responsibilities Provide excellent customer service in a friendly and professional manner. Maintain high standards of product freshness, cleanliness, and sanitation. Operate deli equipment, including meat slicers, microwaves, cutting tools, and scales. Weigh and package prepared foods and raw meats accurately. Prepare special orders, catering platters, and food trays. Perform additional duties as assigned by the manager. Additional Duties & Responsibilities Clean and sanitize the workspace at the end of each shift. Wrap and properly store cold cuts, meats, and prepared foods at the end of the day. Assist customers with product selections and answer questions. Promote new products, specials, and featured items. Physical Requirements Ability to stand for the duration of the shift. Ability to lift at least 20 pounds. Ability to safely operate deli equipment after appropriate training. Qualifications Must be at least 18 years of age. Strong customer service and communication skills. Ability to work well independently and as part of a team. Ability to read, write, and accurately fulfill customer orders.
