Responsibilities Prepare and assemble a variety of gourmet sandwiches using fresh ingredients, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met. Operate kitchen equipment such as slicers, toasters, and food prep tools safely and efficiently. Manage customer orders accurately through POS (Point of Sale) systems like Aloha POS and Micros POS, processing transactions smoothly and efficiently. Upsell menu items to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales, providing excellent service from order taking to payment processing. Maintain a clean and sanitized workspace by following proper sanitation protocols, including food handling and sanitation practices. Restock ingredients and supplies regularly to ensure the kitchen remains well-stocked for peak hours. Assist with bussing tables and maintaining cleanliness in the dining area to promote a hygienic environment. Requirements Proven experience in food preparation, fast food or quick service restaurant environments preferred. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for processing sales and managing customer orders. Strong time management skills to handle high-volume periods efficiently. Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude. Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely and follow food safety standards diligently. Basic math skills for cash handling, processing transactions, and retail math calculations. Knowledge of food safety management practices including sanitation, proper food handling, and cleanliness standards. Previous experience in retail sales transactions or grocery store environments is a plus.
