Duties Prepare and assemble deli products with precision, following food safety standards and sanitation guidelines Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process sales efficiently and accurately Serve customers with a friendly attitude, providing product recommendations and upselling items to enhance their shopping experience Maintain cleanliness of the deli area, including food handling, sanitation, and bussing duties to ensure a safe environment Manage cash handling responsibilities with accuracy, including basic math calculations for transactions Restock shelves and display cases promptly to ensure product availability and visual appeal Follow all food industry regulations related to food safety, handling, and storage while adhering to quick service restaurant standards Skills Proven experience in food preparation, food service or retail environments, especially in fast-paced settings like quick service or grocery stores Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for smooth transaction processing Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse clientele Knowledge of food handling procedures, sanitation practices, and food safety regulations Ability to multitask efficiently while managing time effectively in a busy environment Basic math skills for cash handling, grocery math calculations, and sales upselling techniques Experience working in kitchens or cafés is highly desirable; restaurant experience is a plus Join us as a /Deli Clerk and bring your energy, enthusiasm, and culinary passion to our team!
