In this energetic role, you will deliver exceptional customer experiences by providing friendly service, managing food and beverage orders efficiently, and ensuring a clean, organized workspace. Duties Greet customers warmly and assist with their food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS. Operate cash registers accurately, processing cash transactions, credit card payments, and retail sales transactions with precision. Prepare and assemble food items according to safety standards and quality expectations, including basic food preparation tasks. Upsell menu items and promote specials to enhance guest experience and increase sales. Maintain a clean and sanitized workspace by following sanitation protocols, including proper food handling and kitchen equipment operation. Manage customer orders efficiently, ensuring timely service while maintaining high standards of food safety management. Support team members in operating kitchen equipment, restocking supplies, and ensuring overall cleanliness of the front-of-house area. Requirements 2 years previous experience in restaurant table service or bar industry environments is highly preferred. Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests. Knowledge of POS systems such as Shift4 POS or Micros POS is a plus. Ability to handle cash register operations accurately and process cash transactions confidently. Basic math skills for retail math, cash handling, and order management. Experience with food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures. Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced setting. Culinary or café experience is beneficial but not required; enthusiasm for learning is key!
