Job Description
Overview We're on the lookout for friendly, energetic Sandwich Artists to join our fast-paced food service team. In this role, you'll be the face of our brand, creating delicious sandwiches and providing top-notch customer service in a lively, quick-service environment. Duties Prepare fresh sandwiches and salads according to established recipes and customer preferences, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met. Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS efficiently for order processing and cash handling. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, including proper food handling, sanitation, and kitchen safety practices. Assist customers with menu selections, upselling items to enhance their experience while increasing sales. Manage time effectively during busy hours to serve customers quickly without compromising quality or safety. Support food industry standards by adhering to food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures. Help with bussing tables and maintaining a tidy dining area to ensure a welcoming environment for guests. Experience Previous experience in food preparation or quick-service restaurants is preferred but not mandatory; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are key! Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus. Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and accurate order assembly are important. Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures is highly desirable. Experience working in a café, grocery store, or retail environment can provide a strong foundation for success in this role. Strong customer service skills combined with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting will help you thrive here.
