Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Sandwich Maker to join our team in a fast-paced café environment. As a Sandwich Maker, you will play a crucial role in crafting delicious sandwiches and ensuring customer satisfaction. Your ability to manage time effectively and maintain food safety standards will be essential in delivering quality service in our quick-service fast food restaurant. Duties Prepare and assemble sandwiches according to customer specifications while adhering to food safety guidelines. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the kitchen area, including equipment and work surfaces. Utilize the Aloha POS system for order processing, ensuring accuracy in customer transactions. Assist customers with menu selections, providing recommendations and upselling when appropriate. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient kitchen operations during peak hours. Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and notify management when supplies are low. Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure the highest standards of quality and safety. Requirements Previous experience in a café or quick-service restaurant setting is preferred but not mandatory. Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during busy periods. Knowledge of food safety practices and ability to maintain a clean working environment. Basic culinary skills with an eagerness to learn new techniques in sandwich preparation. Excellent communication skills with a friendly demeanor towards customers and team members. Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated when needed.
