Overview Join our Marty's 1st Stop team during this exciting time as we expand into our newly renovated store. This position involved providing excellent customer service in our meat department serving meat and sliced deli meats to our customers. Duties Greet customers warmly, assist with their meat selections, and answer questions about products and preparation methods Operate deli slicers efficiently Ensures clean, organized and well stocked meat department communicates well with meat department staff Manage perishable goods by monitoring expiration dates, proper storage temperatures, and stock rotation Provide excellent customer service by offering product recommendations, explaining cuts of meat, and assisting with special requests Previous retail store experience preferred, especially in food handling or customer service roles within the food industry or restaurant settings Basic math skills for weighing, pricing, and inventory management are essential Culinary or kitchen experience that demonstrates an understanding of food handling standards is highly valued Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

Pay:

$17.00 - $20.00 per hour Expected hours: 35.0 - 40.0 per week
