Job Overview Here at Feast 542, we are looking for the right candidate to come in and join our small but mighty team. We are looking for someone who can multitask use their time wisely, we do everything here, so multi-tasking is a big key point. From the dish pit to cooking, making espressos and all the time providing top notch customer service every time! Looking for a positive, motivated, punctual person(s) that actually enjoy working with the public and enjoy making good food. Experience is preferred but will train the right candidate. We do serve alcohol so applicants must be 18+. Responsibilities Prepare ingredients and assemble sandwiches and drinks according to standardized recipes and menu specifications Assist in ingredient preparation by chopping, slicing, and portioning ingredients with precision using proper knife skills and slicing techniques Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including ovens, sandwich press, and espresso machine Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and kitchen tools to uphold food safety standards and sanitation regulations Support the kitchen team in food handling, storage, and inventory management to minimize waste and ensure freshness Follow food safety management protocols diligently, adhering to all safety standards during production and service Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to coordinate prep, assembly, and timely execution of orders Contribute to a positive team environment by bringing a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and an open mind to collaborating with the team Qualifications Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred, but not required Knowledge of social media marketing or SEO is a plus Demonstrated competency with strong knife skills and slicing techniques Familiarity with food safety standards in production environments and proper food handling practices Ability to operate various kitchen equipment safely and efficiently Experience with meal preparation, catering, or menu planning is advantageous Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with kitchen staff Basic understanding of food industry operations and safety regulations A proactive attitude toward cleaning duties and maintaining a hygienic workspace Join us in creating exceptional dining experiences for locals and travelers alike!
