We are looking for a reliable, hardworking, and flexible Food Production Worker to join our team. This is a hands-on position involving operating production equipment to make food products, preparing and handling ingredients, packaging finished products, and supporting daily production operations. As a growing company with a small team, employees may also assist with cleaning and sanitation, waste handling, receiving and shipping, basic equipment care, documentation, and other reasonable duties needed to support daily company operations. Responsibilities Operate food production machines and equipment to manufacture food products Prepare, weigh, mix, process, and handle ingredients and finished products Follow recipes, production instructions, and established procedures Package, label, and organize finished products Perform basic quality checks on ingredients, products, packaging, and labels Follow GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices), food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures Clean and sanitize production equipment, tools, containers, floors, and work areas Perform routine equipment cleaning and basic care Assist with garbage, recycling, organic/food waste, and general facility cleanliness Assist with receiving, shipping, moving, organizing, and storing ingredients, supplies, and finished products Complete basic production, cleaning, inventory, and other required records Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workplace Assist with other production, warehouse, cleaning, administrative, or general operational duties as reasonably assigned based on business needs Qualifications Previous food production, bakery, confectionery, kitchen, warehouse, or manufacturing experience is preferred Knowledge of GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) and food safety procedures is a plus Food Handler Certificate is preferred; training/certification can be arranged after hire if needed Able to follow instructions, recipes, safety requirements, and sanitation procedures Comfortable operating and cleaning food production equipment Detail-oriented and able to follow established procedures Reliable, punctual, responsible, and willing to learn Able to work independently and as part of a team Willing to perform different job duties as needed in a growing company Must be able to safely work in a facility that processes nuts and other common food allergens Physical Requirements Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the work shift Ability to regularly lift, carry, push, pull, and move 25 lbs or more Ability to frequently bend, reach, stoop, and perform repetitive movements Ability to safely operate, handle, and clean food production equipment Ability to perform physically active production, cleaning, material handling, and related duties throughout the workday The physical requirements described above are representative of those required to perform the essential functions of this position.
