Hughes-Bosca/ Side Street Gallery is the home of HB fine Jewelry as well as a curated collection of contemporary fine functional craft, art and international treasures. We are looking for an self-motivated, enthusiastic administrative manager for the gallery. Applicant should be an outgoing and self-starter, reliable and hardworking. Weekend hours are required. Salary based on experience.

Qualifications:

• Confident and poised
• Multi-tasker who can refocus after interruptions, and follow-through on tasks
• Detail oriented and organized
• Good communication skills
• Time management and ability to prioritize
• Previous gallery experience a plus
• Experience with Mac Computers- Word and Excel a must, Photoshop and InDesign skills a big plus.

Facebook, Instagram and Pinterest Core Duties Responsibilities:

• Creating, cleaning and maintaining engaging displays
• Helping customers/in-store sales
• Responding to email and phone inquiries
• Invoicing and processing payments
• Packing and shipping custom work and online purchases
• Photographing and maintaining inventories/Maintaining general records
• Banking and recording of sales for bookkeeper
• Cleaning and some light outdoor gardening (deadheading and watering)
• Coordinate with artists, vendors, and clients
