Temp-to-Hire - Eligible for Direct Hire After 580 Hours Impact Employment Solutions is seeking dependable and motivated Production Team Members for a food manufacturing facility in Lima, Ohio. This position involves packaging, inspecting, and preparing food products while maintaining production standards, food safety requirements, and a clean working environment. Job Responsibilities- Package finished food products and prepare them for distribution.
- Replenish packaging materials and supplies on production lines.
- Inspect finished packages for proper seals, labeling, coding, and overall quality.
- Monitor conveyors, packaging equipment, and product weights for accuracy.
- Complete required production and quality documentation.
- Maintain production efficiency and meet daily production goals.
- Clean and sanitize equipment and assigned work areas.
- Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), food safety procedures, and workplace safety requirements.
- Identify and report product quality concerns, unsafe conditions, or equipment issues.
- Perform additional production duties as assigned. Job Requirements
- Dependable attendance and punctuality.
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts on a rotating 2-2-3 schedule.
- Comfortable standing for extended periods and performing repetitive tasks.
- Strong attention to detail and product quality.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Willingness to follow food safety, sanitation, and GMP requirements.
- Previous manufacturing, production, or packaging experience is helpful. Working Environment
- Fast-paced food manufacturing and packaging facility.
- Some production areas may be refrigerated or temperature-controlled.
- Exposure to manufacturing equipment and noise.
