Hansen Agri-PLACEMENT is searching for an experienced Herdsman for a progressive Heifer Operation. The successful candidate will be involved in all aspects of heifer management, including feeding and nutrition, herd health, and reproduction programs such as synchronization and artificial insemination. Additional responsibilities include overseeing daily livestock care, assisting with facility maintenance and upgrades, and contributing to efficient herd operations. This employer values a strong work ethic, teamwork, and balance, encouraging employees to work hard on the job and enjoy time with family, friends, and the great outdoors. Compensation will be commensurate with experience, ability, and overall fit within the operation. The position focuses on reproduction management, herd health, and heifer development within a modern livestock program that combines strong animal husbandry with advanced reproductive technology. - Dependable, self-motivated, and able to work both independently and as part of a small team.
- Effective communication and record-keeping skills.
