Lead Host Settlers Bay Lodge | Wasilla, AK Settlers Bay Lodge is looking for an experienced, personable, and organized Lead Host to join our front-of-house team. Our Lead Host sets the tone at the door—providing a warm and inviting welcome to every guest while keeping the dining room organized and service flowing smoothly. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who can confidently run the host stand, lead the host team, and stay composed during a busy dinner rush. Responsibilities Warmly greet and welcome guests Lead and support the host team during service Follow and uphold established seating procedures and rotation Manage reservations, walk-ins, waitlists, and table assignments Balance server sections and help maintain proper service and kitchen pacing Monitor table status and anticipate seating needs Coordinate large parties and special reservations Maintain strong communication with servers, kitchen staff, and management Assist with training new hosts Ensure host opening, running, and closing duties are completed Maintain a clean, organized, and professional host stand Answer phones and assist guests with reservations and questions Qualifications 2+ years of restaurant or hospitality experience preferred Previous hosting experience required OpenTable experience preferred Toast POS experience preferred Strong communication and organizational skills Confident, dependable, and professional Able to multitask and make decisions in a fast-paced environment Available evenings, weekends, and holidays We're looking for someone who understands that great hospitality starts at the door. Pay:

$20.00 - $26.00 per hour Expected hours: 20.0 - 40.0 per week
