Overview We are seeking a friendly, attentive Host/hostess to join our dynamic team in providing exceptional dining experiences. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, excellent customer service skills, and experience in food and beverage service. This role involves engaging with guests, arranging seating, and taking customers to their seats and ensuring their satisfaction throughout their visit. Prior experience with POS systems and yelp waitlist is highly valued. The host/hostess will contribute to creating a welcoming atmosphere and fast seating to limit the time guests need to wait. Duties Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm Take accurate food and beverage orders for togo orders Refill water and restock water cups Stock up salt/peper and sauces Ensure proper food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures are followed at all times Assist with bussing tables, resetting tables, and maintaining cleanliness in the dining area Provide knowledgeable recommendations about menu items, including wine pairings or special Address guest inquiries or concerns promptly to ensure satisfaction and positive guest relations Experience Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred, especially in fine dining or upscale establishments Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable is advantageous Experience in hospitality roles like host/host or bartender is a plus Strong skills in customer service, upselling, and guest relations are essential Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures Ability to manage multiple tables efficiently through excellent time management and organizational skill Experience working in fast-paced environments such as nightclubs or busy restaurants is beneficial Join our team to deliver memorable dining experiences by combining your passion for hospitality with your expertise in food service.
