Duties Greet guests warmly upon arrival, providing friendly and professional service to set a positive tone for their visit Manage reservations efficiently, coordinating seating arrangements to optimize flow and guest comfort Escort guests to their tables, explaining menu specials or answering initial questions as needed Clear and reset tables promptly to maintain a clean and inviting dining area Assist servers by delivering food and beverages, ensuring timely service and guest satisfaction Maintain cleanliness in dining and service areas, adhering to health and safety standards Support guest relations by addressing inquiries with professionalism and courtesy, including phone etiquette when handling reservations or inquiries over the phone Experience Previous host/hostess experience in a food service or restaurant setting preferred but not required Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively with diverse guests Familiarity with restaurant POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus Experience in hospitality or hotel environments can be advantageous Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a lively environment while maintaining a positive attitude Knowledge of serving protocols and guest relations enhances your ability to excel in this role This dynamic position is perfect for motivated individuals eager to grow within the hospitality industry.
