Job Overview We are seeking an energetic and personable Restaurant Host/Hostess to be the first point of contact for our guests. In this vital role, you will manage reservations, greet and seat guests, and ensure smooth table turnover. Your enthusiasm and excellent communication skills will help create memorable visits for every guest, supporting our team in delivering outstanding hospitality. Must be available evenings and weekends Responsibilities Welcome guests warmly upon arrival and manage seating arrangements efficiently Maintain organized restaurant table management systems to optimize seating flow Answer phone calls with professional phone etiquette, assist with reservations, and respond to guest inquiries Coordinate with the dining team to ensure timely seating and guest satisfaction Support food safety standards by maintaining cleanliness and organization in the host station Provide exceptional guest services by addressing guest needs promptly and courteously Experience Previous host/hostess experience in a fast-paced restaurant environment preferred Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and hospitality Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, including phone communication and etiquette Ability to perform basic math accurately for managing reservations and seating arrangements Organizational skills to manage multiple tables, reservations, and guest requests efficiently Knowledge of food safety practices and restaurant operations is a plus Join us to be part of a lively team dedicated to creating welcoming experiences for every guest.
