Breakfast Host The Breakfast Host is responsible for setting the stage for a great start to each guests day with a breakfast that puts them on a positive path as the prepare for their scheduled activities. It also opens the door to speaking to and having conversations with the guests, many times which turn into an opportunity gather information that also acts as a source of business leads for the Sales Department.

None Duties/Responsibilities:
Provides superior customer service to all guests. Sets up the breakfast area prior to service and keeps it stocked, clean, and well maintained during the breakfast hours, which includes all necessary serving ware. Ensures all tables are clean prior to breakfast starting, retaining their cleanliness during the breakfast hours, and after breakfast concludes. Ensures that the space has TVs are on appropriate channels designated by the Brand standards, such as news and weather with the volume at the Brand required level and closed caption on, if applicable. Maintains a complete understanding of all Health Department rules and regulations, ensuring all certifications are valid, food temps are adequate, and food labeling is correct. Plans the menu for food that is being served, rotating the offerings as designated by the hotels standards. Stays aware of the premises and the activity, observing any suspicious activities or persons, any of which is to be reported immediately to the General Manager or Manager on Duty. Speaks to guests and uses this time to collect sales leads for the Sales Department. Ensures coffee urns are full and tea preparation is available. Cleans kitchen prior to leaving and stores all food following Health Department guidelines. Performs any other tasks requested during the morning shift. Follows all
OSHA/HAZCOM
procedure. Wears appropriate brand required uniform and name tag during all scheduled shifts.

Service Oriented Education and Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent Three months of related experience
Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods standing. Must be able to lift and carry up to 25 pounds at a time. Duties, responsibilities, and activities may change, or new ones may be assigned at any time with or without notice.
