Job Description
Overview Join our vibrant team as a Host/Hostess and become the welcoming face of our restaurant! In this energetic role, you will create a warm, inviting atmosphere by greeting guests with enthusiasm, managing reservations efficiently, placing to-go orders, and ensuring seamless seating. Your positive attitude and organizational skills will set the tone for an exceptional dining experience. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your customer service expertise while contributing to a lively, fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Greet guests promptly with a friendly, professional demeanor to foster a welcoming atmosphere Manage restaurant reservations using reservation management systems and coordinate seating to optimize flow Maintain an organized waitlist and communicate wait times clearly to guests via phone or in person, when nessecary. Answer incoming phone calls with excellent phone etiquette, providing information, placing to-go orders, and taking reservations as needed Support guest relations by addressing questions or concerns courteously and professionally Skills Experience as a host/hostess or in food service roles, demonstrating strong customer service skills. We are willing to train the right candidate! Familiarity with restaurant reservation management and table management systems such as Toast POS, Toast Tables, and Yelp Guest Manager. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, including phone communication and etiquette Basic math skills for handling reservations, waitlist calculations, and POS transactions Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tables, reservations, and guest needs efficiently Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude Join us in creating memorable dining experiences!
