Job Overview Daytime hours 11:30am-3pm, Tuesday-Friday. Join our dynamic team as a Host/Cashier, where you'll be the welcoming face of our establishment! In this vibrant role, you'll engage with guests, manage seating arrangements, and handle transactions with precision and care. Your enthusiasm for hospitality will shine as you create memorable experiences for every visitor, ensuring they feel valued and appreciated from the moment they arrive. What you'll do Greet and seat guests with a warm and friendly demeanor, setting the tone for their dining experience. Manage reservations and waitlists efficiently to optimize guest flow. Process cash and credit transactions accurately using Point of Sale (POS) systems such as Toast POS. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing guest inquiries and resolving any issues promptly. Collaborate with the restaurant team to ensure smooth operations during busy service periods. Maintain cleanliness and organization at the host stand and dining area to enhance guest satisfaction. Uphold phone etiquette when answering calls, taking reservations, or providing information about menu offerings. Basic qualifications Previous experience as a host/host in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with guests and team members. Preferred qualifications Experience in food service or guest relations roles is a plus.
