Gideon Ridge seeks an innkeeper. We are a small bed and breakfast just minutes from the scenic Blue Ridge Parkway and downtown Blowing Rock, NC. We have seven rooms, three suites, and an intimate fine dining restaurant on site. The ideal innkeeper is professional, reliable, outgoing, and finds delight in serving guests. We seek someone with a warm personality, as you are responsible for establishing rapport with guests, and acting as a daily host/hostess from the time of arrival to the time of departure. The ideal candidate works well with a team and independently. As an innkeeper, you assist with all operational aspects of the inn including guest arrival and departure, concierge services, preparing the dining room for breakfast service, serving breakfast and booking reservations for the inn and restaurant. Other job responsibilities may be assigned based on business needs as directed by the supervisor. The ideal candidate has flexible availability and is open to working morning and evening shifts. We prefer someone with ample customer service experience. Ideally you will have hospitality experience. You must live in the area, and we are looking for someone who has a vested interest in remaining and growing within the High Country.
