Job Overview We are seeking a friendly and organized Host/Host to join our team. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring a seamless dining experience. Your primary responsibilities will include greeting guests, managing reservations, and coordinating seating arrangements to optimize flow and service. Duties Greet guests warmly upon arrival and provide them with menus. Manage the reservation system and ensure efficient seating arrangements. Communicate wait times to guests and maintain an organized waiting list. Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization of the front-of-house area. Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure timely service. Handle guest inquiries and provide assistance as needed to enhance their experience. Utilize POS systems, including Aloha POS, to help manage orders and reservations effectively. Skills Strong hospitality skills with a focus on guest relations and satisfaction. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a professional phone etiquette. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while remaining calm under pressure. Previous experience in food service or restaurant settings is preferred but not required. Familiarity with POS systems is advantageous; Aloha POS experience is a plus.
