Responsibilities Greet guests warmly with a friendly attitude, making them feel valued and comfortable from arrival to departure Manage restaurant reservations efficiently using restaurant table management systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS Coordinate seating arrangements to optimize table turnover while ensuring guest satisfaction Answer incoming phone calls with professionalism, providing information about wait times, reservations, and general inquiries while practicing excellent phone etiquette Maintain organized waiting lists and communicate wait times clearly to guests Assist with guest services by addressing special requests or needs promptly and courteously Support food safety and cleanliness standards in the front-of-house area to uphold hygiene protocols Requirements Previous host/hostess experience or background in food service is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and a positive attitude are essential Strong communication skills with the ability to engage confidently with guests and team members Experience with restaurant reservation management and restaurant table management systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly desirable Basic math skills for handling guest counts, reservations, and billing procedures Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tables and guest requests simultaneously Knowledge of POS systems and familiarity with food safety standards in a restaurant setting Ability to handle phone communication professionally, demonstrating good phone etiquette at all times Hospitality experience that emphasizes guest relations and customer service excellence is a plus Join us as a Host/Hostess and be part of a lively team dedicated to delivering exceptional guest experiences.
