MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Acknowledge all guests entering/exiting - Smile. Smile. Smile. This is the most important part of your job. The impression of our business starts with you.
Greet guests with, "Hello. Welcome to Weck's. How many in your party today?"
Introduce yourself by name to all guests.
Be polite and cordial to all guests by using key words of over the top service.
Keep the lobby clean and free of debris
Use proper phone etiquette when answering the phone.
Take any telephone to go orders when necessary.
Use proper rotation when not on wait.
Proper use of wait list.
Seat open tables as soon as possible
Seat only complete parties on the weekend.
Wipe menus, clean high chairs, boosters, windows and roll silverware.
Keep podium clean and stocked, wipe down seating charts.
Check restrooms for cleanliness once per hour or more.
Regular sweeps for menus.
Communicate with manager and server when double/triple seating.
Communicate with other host/hostess.
If a guest wants to sit in a certain seat, assure them that it is ok and our pleasure to seat them wherever they wish, even if it throws you off of the rotation.
Communicate with wait staff when appropriate. Any problems, consult a manager.

WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL EFFORT
Work is normally performed in a restaurant setting.
A moderate deal of physical effort is required.
Heavy lifting, bending, standing and walking for long periods of time.
Exposure to heat or cold and some chemical exposure. Day Shift Part-Time - Hours 7AM-230PM Sunday, Monday, Friday, Saturday
