Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Host/Cashier to join our team in a vibrant dining environment. This role is essential in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our guests while efficiently managing the front-of-house operations. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the food industry and possess excellent customer service skills, ensuring that every guest has an exceptional dining experience. Duties Greet and seat guests promptly upon arrival, ensuring a positive first impression. Manage reservations and waitlists efficiently to optimize seating arrangements. Take customer orders accurately and process payments using the cash register. Assist in meal preparation and food service as needed, supporting kitchen staff during busy periods. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front-of-house area, including dining tables and cashier station. Provide information about menu items, specials, and catering options to enhance guest experience. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours. Address guest inquiries or concerns promptly and professionally to ensure satisfaction. Qualifications Previous experience in a food service or culinary role is preferred. Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with guests and team members. Knowledge of food preparation techniques and meal presentation standards is a plus. Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and responsibly. A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to help others in a fast-paced environment are essential. Must be able to stand for extended periods and perform tasks that require physical stamina.
