Responsibilities Greet guests warmly upon arrival, providing a friendly first impression that sets the tone for their visit Manage restaurant reservation systems efficiently to accommodate guest requests and optimize seating flow Coordinate with the dining team to assign tables, monitor wait times, and ensure timely seating of guests Answer incoming phone calls with professionalism, providing information about wait times, reservations, and general inquiries Maintain accurate records of reservations, waitlists, and guest preferences using restaurant table management systems Assist in managing guest relations by addressing concerns promptly and courteously to enhance overall satisfaction Support food safety standards by ensuring cleanliness of the host station and adherence to hygiene protocols Qualifications Previous experience as a host or hostess in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred Strong communication skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests and team members Knowledge of restaurant reservation management software and POS (Point of Sale) systems is advantageous Excellent organizational skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy periods Basic math skills for managing reservations, seating calculations, and billing support when needed Familiarity with phone etiquette and professional customer service practices Ability to stand for extended periods, walk comfortably around the dining area, and handle fast-paced shifts confidently

Pay:

$16.00 - $18.00 per hour Expected hours: 15.0 - 30.0 per week
