Overview Starting pay of $17.50/hour is offered for a candidate with at least one year of experience and strong references. Candidates who do not have one year of experience may be considered and offered a lower starting pay rate. We are seeking a friendly and organized Host to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, setting the tone for their dining experience. You will be responsible for greeting guests, managing reservations, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere in our restaurant. Your exceptional guest service skills will contribute to creating memorable experiences for our patrons. Responsibilities Greet guests warmly upon arrival and guide them to their tables. Manage reservations and maintain an organized seating chart. Provide accurate wait times and ensure timely seating of guests. Assist with guest inquiries and provide information about menu items and specials. Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host/host area. Ensure specials are clearly written and updated as needed on the specials board. Maintain cleanliness of restrooms Uphold high standards of hospitality and customer service at all times. Qualifications Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment is preferred. Strong guest services skills with a focus on customer satisfaction. Excellent etiquette and communication skills. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. A positive attitude and willingness to help others, contributing to a team-oriented atmosphere. Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays. Ability to make a great first impression, through welcoming personality, professional appearance, and dedication to providing an excellent guest experience.
