Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking an enthusiastic and friendly Host/Host to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring they feel welcomed and valued from the moment they arrive. This role requires excellent communication skills and a passion for providing outstanding guest services in a fast-paced restaurant environment. Duties Greet guests warmly upon arrival and guide them to their tables. Manage the reservation system and maintain an organized waitlist. Communicate effectively with the kitchen and wait staff to ensure timely service. Handle guest inquiries and concerns with professionalism and courtesy. Utilize Toast POS or similar systems to assist with seating arrangements and guest flow. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front-of-house area. Assist in answering phone calls with proper phone etiquette, taking reservations, or providing information about the restaurant. Support the restaurant team during busy periods by helping with various tasks as needed. Requirements Previous experience in guest relations or food service is preferred but not required. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with guests and staff. Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Toast POS, is a plus. A genuine passion for hospitality and helping others create memorable dining experiences. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
