Residence Inn by Marriott Chicago Southeast/Hammond About the Role Be the first point of contact for our guests. Deliver warm, efficient, brand-standard service from arrival to departure at our Residence Inn by Marriott hotel. Responsibilities Perform check-ins and check-outs, manage reservations, and process payments accurately. Assist with guest requests, directions, local information, and special needs. Upsell rooms and services and promote hotel amenities. Maintain lobby and front desk appearance and supplies. Handle cash, balance drawers, and complete shift reports. Resolve guest concerns promptly or escalate appropriately. Support other departments as needed for seamless operations. Uphold safety, security, and emergency procedures. Deliver Residence Inn by Marriott service standards and enroll guests in the loyalty program. Required High school diploma or equivalent. Strong customer service skills; prior hospitality or retail experience preferred. Basic computer and PMS comfort; cash handling ability. Flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays. Ability to stand for extended periods; professional appearance and positive attitude. Must be at least 18 years old. Preferred Marriott brand systems experience. Bilingual (English/Spanish).
