Your energetic approach will ensure that outdoor spaces are beautifully landscaped, clean, and inviting, while your attentive service in the lobby will create a positive first impression for all guests. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a high-standard hospitality experience through proactive maintenance, exceptional cleanliness, and friendly guest interactions. Duties Perform routine landscaping tasks including lawn care, trimming, planting, and debris removal to keep outdoor areas vibrant and well-maintained Conduct thorough cleaning of lobby areas using appropriate cleaning equipment such as vacuums, mops, and chemical agents to uphold sanitation standards Handle cleaning supplies and chemical agents safely in accordance with safety data sheets (SDS) and hotel safety protocols Assist with heavy lifting tasks related to furniture or equipment moving, ensuring proper manual handling techniques are followed to prevent injury Maintain cleanliness of floors through sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and specialized floor care procedures to ensure a spotless environment Provide friendly customer service by greeting guests, answering questions about hotel amenities, and assisting with directions or requests Follow hotel emergency procedures diligently to ensure guest safety and respond appropriately to any incidents or safety concerns Skills Proven experience in janitorial or custodial roles within hospitality or industrial cleaning environments Strong knowledge of floor cleaning techniques, sanitation practices, and cleaning equipment operation Ability to handle chemical agents safely while performing cleaning tasks in compliance with SDS guidelines Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor Physical stamina for heavy lifting, manual handling, and prolonged periods of standing or walking Familiarity with hotel housekeeping management processes and hospitality standards Knowledge of hotel emergency procedures to ensure guest safety at all times This role is perfect for motivated individuals who thrive in fast-paced environments and take pride in creating clean, welcoming spaces.
