Ellicott Development is looking for a qualified front desk agent to add to our hospitality team for our Wingate by Wyndham located at 11 Mill Street in Ellicottville. The right candidate will enjoy providing superior customer service to all our guests and can communicate professionally both in person and on the phone while enjoying a fast paced hotel. Welcomes guest and pays particular attention to assigned room type, special requests, rate, all while exhibiting an inviting, friendly, and helpful "Glad You're here" personality, attitude and sets an example for guest service representatives to uphold. Performs any combination of following duties for guests of hotel: Greets, register and assigns rooms to guests. Uses suggestive selling techniques to sell rooms, advance reservations, and up selling techniques to maximize revenue. Promptly follows up on guest complaints and requests with the appropriate person or department. Develops the ability to resolve minor complaints to the satisfaction of the guests. We are looking for a candidate available to work 7am-3pm shifts throughout the week and 3pm-11pm shifts on Friday and Saturday. You must be able to work weekends, holidays, and nights.
