Courtyard by Marriott-Maumee is seeking an energetic, guest-focused Bistro Attendant who is eager to grow their hospitality career through cross-training at the Front Desk . This dual-role position offers an exciting opportunity to provide exceptional food and beverage service while gaining valuable hotel operations experience. Position Summary The Bistro Attendant is responsible for creating a welcoming dining experience by preparing and serving food and beverages in The Bistro. In addition, this team member will receive cross-training to assist with Front Desk operations, including guest check-ins, check-outs, reservations, and guest service support. Essential ResponsibilitiesBistro Attendant Duties Provide friendly and efficient service to all guests. Prepare and serve food, coffee, alcoholic beverages, and other menu items according to Marriott standards. Maintain cleanliness and organization of The Bistro, dining area, and kitchen workspaces. Operate the point-of-sale system and accurately handle cash and credit card transactions. Monitor inventory levels and restock food, beverages, and supplies as needed. Follow food safety, sanitation, and health regulations. Front Desk Cross-Training Duties Welcome guests and create a positive first impression of the hotel. Assist with guest check-in and check-out procedures. Answer phone calls and respond to guest inquiries. Process reservations and room assignments. Resolve guest concerns professionally and efficiently. Support hotel operations by communicating effectively with housekeeping and maintenance teams. Qualifications Previous customer service experience required; hospitality experience preferred. Food and beverage experience is a plus. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment. Basic computer and cash-handling skills. Availability to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays. Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds.
