Description Do you enjoy meeting new people and promoting our local area? This position is anticipated to be a combined position supporting Housekeeping and the Front Desk. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Housekeeping / Cleaner Carry linens, towels, toilet items, and cleaning supplies, using wheeled carts.
Clean rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, locker rooms and other work areas so that health standards are met.
Clean rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, and/or draperies, using vacuum cleaners and/or shampooers.
Disinfect equipment and supplies, using germicides or steam-operated sterilizers.
Dust and polish furniture and equipment.
Empty wastebaskets, empty and clean ashtrays, and transport other trash and waste to disposal areas.
Other duties as assigned.
Greeting guests in a courteous and professional manner. You will be responsible for call in and walk in reservations which include processing payment and safeguarding guest information. You will coordinate services per guest requests to ensure a positive stay.
Maintain the front desk area in a clean professional manner.
Work collaboratively with other staff members in the hotel to ensure a safe, positive stay for the guests.
As needed you will be expected to assist others in maintaining the cleanliness of the property. This is a part time position, approx 30 hours per week. Additional Details
