This is a combined position that may include front desk duties, membership sales, child care, customer service, and light facility cleaning . This is a great position for someone who enjoys working with people, is comfortable around children, and is willing to help wherever needed. Schedule and Availability Applicants should have some flexibility within the following operating hours. You will not work all of these hours. These are the times when shifts may be scheduled. Front Desk and Sales Monday through

Friday:

Shifts may be scheduled between 5:00 AM and 9:00 PM Some early morning shifts may be approximately 5:00 AM to noon Typical evening shifts may be approximately 5:00 PM to 9:00

PM Saturday:

Approximately 8:00 AM to 5:00

PM Sunday:

Approximately 11:00 PM to 4:00 PM Child Care Monday through

Saturday:

Approximately 8:30 AM to noon Monday through

Friday:

Approximately 4:30 PM to 8:00

PM Sunday:

Approximately 11:00 PM to 2:00 PM Applicants should be available for some weekends , but will not be expected to work every weekend. Training may occur approximately 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM on a weekday . Please include your complete availability when applying. Front Desk and Sales Responsibilities Greet members and guests in a friendly, professional manner Answer telephone calls and provide accurate information Confidently give facility tours to prospective members Explain memberships, services, and facility amenities Assist with membership sales and earn additional commission Use computers and membership software for routine front desk functions Assist members with questions and help resolve concerns Maintain a welcoming and professional front desk environment Help create a positive customer experience Complete other duties as assigned Child Care Responsibilities When assigned to our child care area, you will supervise children while their parents exercise in the facility.

Responsibilities may include:

Supervise infants, toddlers, and children during safe play Engage children in age appropriate activities Lead play and simple activities Communicate appropriately with children and parents Recognize and respond to the needs of infants and toddlers Comfort children who are upset or distressed Maintain patience and self control Use sound judgment and problem solving skills Maintain a clean, organized, and safe child care environment Applicants working with children must have a positive attitude, genuinely enjoy working with children, and have no criminal history involving offenses against children . Previous child care experience is preferred. Cleaning and Facility Responsibilities All team members help maintain the facility. Cleaning duties are part of this position and may include: Mopping floors Removing trash Wiping and sanitizing surfaces Light cleaning of the front desk, child care area, and other facility spaces Straightening and organizing assigned areas Restocking basic supplies Assisting with general facility upkeep Other cleaning and facility duties as assigned Qualifications Applicants should: Have reliable transportation Be comfortable using computers Have strong communication and interpersonal skills Be comfortable answering the telephone Be willing and able to give facility tours Be friendly, outgoing, and professional Demonstrate good judgment and problem solving skills Be dependable and punctual Be comfortable working around children Be willing to perform light cleaning and general facility duties Be able to obtain CPR certification Be able to obtain a Food Handler Certificate when required Compensation and Benefits $7.25 per hour Additional sales commission opportunities Free gym membership with 24 hour access (Sales and possible with Kidszone) Employee discount Flexible scheduling Opportunity for quarterly merit based wage increases Employees assigned to child care may be able to bring their child with them while working, subject to facility policies
