Job Description

Job Overview The Front Desk Agent is the first point of contact for guests at the Wildwood Lodge and plays a key role in delivering a welcoming, efficient, and memorable guest experience. This position is responsible for providing outstanding customer service, managing reservations and check-ins/check-outs, handling guest inquiries, and supporting overall hotel operations. Duties Greet guests warmly and professionally upon arrival, creating a positive first impression Perform guest check-in and check-out procedures accurately and efficiently Process reservations, cancellations, room changes, and payments using the property management system Answer phone calls, emails, and in-person inquiries in a courteous and timely manner Provide information on hotel services, amenities, local attractions, and events Resolve guest concerns or complaints promptly, escalating issues when necessary Balance cash drawer and complete shift reports accurately Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and management to ensure guest needs are met Maintain a clean, organized, and professional front desk area property walks Follow all hotel policies, safety procedures, and brand standards Skills High school diploma or equivalent required Previous hotel or customer service experience preferred Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to multitask and remain calm in a fast-paced environment Proficient with computers; experience with hotel property management systems is a plus Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail Reliable, professional appearance, and punctual Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays Physical & Work Requirements Ability to stand for extended periods Occasional lifting up to 25 pounds Ability to work in a guest-facing environment with frequent interaction What We Offer Competitive pay Employee hotel discounts Opportunities for growth and career advancement Supportive team-oriented work environment Join us to be part of a vibrant team where your proactive approach and exceptional communication skills will make a real difference!
