Job Summary Join our dynamic hospitality team as an Assistant General Manager at a premier hotel property. In this energetic leadership role, you will oversee daily hotel operations, ensuring exceptional guest experiences and operational excellence. Your leadership will drive team performance, uphold service standards, and manage the financial health of the property. This position offers an exciting opportunity to lead a hospitality team in a fast-paced environment, fostering a welcoming atmosphere for guests while maintaining efficient and profitable operations. Duties Oversee all aspects of daily hotel operations, including front desk, housekeeping, maintenance, and food services to ensure smooth functioning. Supervise and motivate hospitality teams, providing guidance on customer service standards, guest relations, and operational procedures. Manage hospitality reservation systems and property management systems (PMS) to optimize booking efficiency and accuracy. Lead revenue management initiatives by analyzing financial data, adjusting pricing strategies, and managing budgets to maximize profitability. Ensure compliance with hotel guest service standards, human resources policies, and safety regulations across all departments. Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and special requests promptly to maintain high levels of guest satisfaction. Oversee financial operations including budgeting, expense control, and managing hospitality operations budgets to meet financial targets. Coordinate night audit procedures and support front desk activities such as multi-line phone systems and phone etiquette. Collaborate with human resources on staffing needs, training programs, and performance evaluations to develop a strong hospitality team. Maintain detailed records of operational activities, incident reports, and shift logs for accountability and continuous improvement. Qualifications Proven supervisory or managerial experience in hospitality management or hotel operations. Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage diverse teams effectively. Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction and relations. Experience with hotel management systems (PMS), hospitality reservation systems, and property management software. Knowledge of revenue management strategies, budgeting, and financial management within a hospitality setting. Bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly desirable to enhance guest interactions across diverse populations. Familiarity with night audit procedures and front desk operations including multi-line phone systems and phone etiquette. Exceptional communication skills for managerial communication and team coordination. Ability to oversee daily hotel operations while maintaining high standards of guest service excellence. Pay:
$40,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year
