Job Description
Hotel Manager - Sleep Inn & Suites Merrillville Sleep Inn & Suites in Merrillville is currently looking for a full-time Hotel Manager to join our management team. Responsibilities Oversee daily hotel operations Supervise Front Desk, Housekeeping, Night Audit, and other departments Create and manage employee schedules Train, coach, and supervise employees Ensure employees follow hotel policies, procedures, and checklists Maintain excellent guest service and guest satisfaction Handle guest concerns and resolve problems Monitor cleanliness and overall hotel standards Assist with hiring and training new employees Ensure proper staffing and shift coverage Communicate with ownership and management regarding hotel operations Help maintain a professional and positive work environment Perform other management duties as needed Qualifications Previous hotel, management, or supervisory experience preferred Strong customer service and communication skills Good leadership and organizational skills Dependable and responsible Strong problem-solving skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Must be available weekdays and weekends Must have a flexible schedule
