• Iron Mountain, MI, US Posted 12 hours ago Description We're searching for an experienced dual property assistant general manager to help our general manager plan and oversee the hotel's day-to-day operations. This position will support the Pine Mountain Resort Iron Mountain and Four Seasons Resort Pembine, WI. When the general manager is unavailable, you will be in charge of supervising personnel, dealing with client problems, and ensuring that our customers enjoy a 5-star experience. A bachelor's degree in hospitality management and three years of managerial experience in the hospitality business are strongly preferred. Responsibilities Collaborate with department heads and the general manager to develop an annual budget, and assess performance throughout the year, making modifications as needed to preserve profitability Deliver support to the human resources department to help them improve turnover management, employee motivation, and staff growth and retention Manage compliance with company or brand established policies and procedures and any local, state, and federal laws and regulations Analyze the performance of each department, report any problem areas, and make recommendations to improve profitability for hotel operations Support the general manager in the daily operation of the hotel to ensure that all guest service standards are met Qualifications Must have at least 3 or more years of experience in the hospitality field A proven record of experience managing a team, preferably in a hospitality role, is required This role requires a strong emphasis on putting the guest first and providing exceptional customer service You must have a high school diploma or GED; bachelor's degree in hospitality management, or a related field Showcase exceptional organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills About Pine Mountain Ski & Golf Resort Nestled in Michigan's Upper Peninsula, Pine Mountain Ski & Golf Resort is a year-round haven for outdoor enthusiasts.
