50 The Guest Services Supervisor is responsible for the day-to-day oversight of housekeeping, janitorial, and linen services operations to ensure a clean, safe, welcoming, and well-maintained environment for clients, staff, and visitors. This role provides supervision, training, workflow coordination, and quality oversight for hospitality services staff and/or contracted vendors while supporting operational efficiency, cleanliness standards, and supply stewardship across assigned facilities. The Guest Services Supervisor collaborates closely with operational, clinical, dining, behavioral health, and facilities teams to support a positive client experience and maintain environmental service standards aligned with organizational expectations. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Provide direct supervision and day-to-day oversight of housekeeping, janitorial, and linen services staff and/or contracted vendors. Assign staff responsibilities and monitor workflow to promote accountability, consistency, and service quality. Conduct routine inspections of resident areas, offices, common spaces, hallways, stairwells, kitchens, loading docks, and other assigned facility areas to ensure cleanliness and safety standards are maintained. Address environmental service concerns promptly and escalate operational issues appropriately. Serve as a facility-level point of contact for hospitality and environmental service-related concerns. Establish schedules, assignments, and staffing coverage for hospitality services staff based on operational needs. Provide onboarding, orientation, coaching, and ongoing performance feedback to hospitality staff. Conduct shift huddles, staff meetings, and individual check-ins to support communication, accountability, and staff development. Oversee linen inventory, supply management, and loss reduction efforts. Collaborate with operational and behavioral health teams to support linen stewardship and environmental service initiatives. Support inventory oversight and ordering of hospitality-related supplies and materials. Monitor staffing patterns and overtime utilization and identify opportunities for operational improvement. Coordinate with contracted vendors to ensure expectations, service standards, and scopes of work are met. Collaborate with Dining, Clinical, Administrative, Facilities, and Behavioral Health teams to support a safe and welcoming environment. Participate in operational meetings, hospitality huddles, and quality improvement discussions as required. Provide updates to leadership regarding staffing, service quality, operational concerns, and environmental service performance. Maintain discretion and confidentiality regarding company information. Complete all required trainings as designated by the company and accreditation/licensing entities. Perform other duties as assigned. Supervisory Responsibilities Provides supervision, coaching, workflow oversight, and performance support to housekeeping, janitorial, and hospitality services staff and may assist with oversight of contracted environmental service vendors. Required Qualifications Education, Licensure, & Experience High school diploma or GED preferred. Experience supervising housekeeping, janitorial, hospitality, environmental services, or related operational teams required Experience working with contracted vendors or outsourced service providers preferred Experience working in healthcare, behavioral health, hospitality, residential, or similar service environments preferred Job Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The employee may occasionally sit, kneel, crouch, push, pull, lift, or move supplies and materials up to 50 pounds. The role may require extended periods of walking and physical activity throughout the facility. Work Environment This position operates in healthcare, residential, behavioral health, and hospitality service environments. Employees may interact with clients experiencing behavioral health or substance use-related conditions and may encounter exposure to cleaning chemicals, bodily fluids, viruses, diseases, or infections in the work environment. The role may require schedule flexibility based on operational needs. Compensation This position may be subject to state or local wage transparency requirements.
