Join the Fairfield Inn & Suites Brookfield Fairfield Inn & Suites Brookfield, (138-key property opened 2021) is seeking an experienced, hands-on General Manager to lead a team and drive lasting operational stability. The General Manager serves as the on-site leader responsible for all aspects of hotel operations, including guest satisfaction, associate engagement, revenue growth, sales initiatives, brand compliance, and asset protection. The successful candidate will build a service and accountability culture from the ground up. Key Responsibilities Provide overall leadership and direction for hotel operations. Rebuild and stabilize the property's team Drive guest satisfaction and service culture across all departments. Recruit, train, develop, and retain a high-performing team for the long term. Ensure compliance with Marriott brand standards and company policies. Manage hotel financial performance, including revenue, labor, expenses, and profitability. Develop and execute sales and marketing initiatives to maximize market share and revenue. Maintain strong relationships with guests, community partners, and local businesses. Oversee property maintenance, preventative maintenance programs, and capital improvement initiatives. Analyze operational reports and key performance indicators to identify opportunities for improvement. Lead daily operations while fostering a positive and engaging work environment. Qualifications Minimum 2 years of hotel General Manager and/or AGM experience required; this is not an entry-level hotel GM role. Candidates must have prior hotel team leadership accountability. Marriott brand experience strongly preferred. Demonstrated success stabilizing or rebuilding an underperforming team Proven track record of driving guest satisfaction, revenue growth, and profitability. Strong leadership, coaching, and team-building skills, with specific experience in housekeeping/labor staffing recovery. Experience managing hotel budgets, forecasting, and financial performance. Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities. Knowledge of revenue management, sales strategies, and operational best practices. Ability to work flexible hours as business demands require.
