Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of housekeeping staff, ensuring efficient task completion and high-quality service. Train new team members on cleaning procedures, safety regulations, sanitation protocols, and customer service standards. Monitor cleaning operations across various areas including guest rooms, public spaces, laundry facilities, and industrial cleaning zones. Conduct regular inspections to verify cleanliness, sanitation, and safety compliance in accordance with company policies and industry regulations. Manage inventory levels of cleaning supplies, equipment maintenance schedules, and ensure proper storage practices. Enforce safety regulations during all cleaning activities to prevent accidents and promote a safe working environment. Communicate effectively with management regarding staffing needs, performance issues, or operational improvements to enhance overall service quality. Experience Proven supervisory experience in housekeeping or custodial services within hospitality or commercial settings. Extensive knowledge of cleaning techniques including industrial cleaning, janitorial procedures, sanitation practices, and laundry operations. Strong team management skills with the ability to motivate staff and foster a collaborative work environment. Familiarity with safety regulations related to cleaning chemicals, equipment handling, and workplace safety standards. Previous experience managing cleaning & sanitation operations in hotel or hospitality environments is highly desirable. Excellent managerial communication skills paired with customer service expertise to address guest needs effectively. Demonstrated leadership in managing teams responsible for commercial cleaning projects or custodial services.
