Position:

The Property Quality & Housekeeping Inspector is the final set of eyes on our homes before guest arrival . This position is responsible for inspecting properties after housekeeping has been completed and ensuring each home meets Beachside VR's standards for cleanliness, presentation, functionality, and guest readiness. This is a hands-on role for someone who has an exceptional eye for detail and naturally notices the things other people miss. As a Property Quality & Housekeeping Inspector, you will: Perform detailed inspections of vacation rental homes following housekeeping services Ensure each property is clean, stocked, staged, and completely guest-ready Inspect kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms, living areas, patios, pools, and outdoor spaces Check beds, linens, towels, décor, furniture placement, and overall presentation Identify missed cleaning items and perform light touch-up cleaning when necessary Confirm guest supplies, toiletries, linens, and amenities are properly stocked Check for damages, missing items, maintenance concerns, and potential safety issues Test basic property functions including lights, TVs, remotes, locks, thermostats, and appliances Complete digital inspection checklists and upload property photos Communicate housekeeping deficiencies and coordinate corrections when necessary Report maintenance issues quickly so they can be resolved before guest arrival Help ensure consistency in cleanliness and presentation across all Beachside VR properties Assist the operations and housekeeping teams during busy turnover days as needed Most importantly, you'll look at every property through the eyes of the guest and catch issues before they become guest issues.

Qualifications:

Exceptional attention to detail and high standards for cleanliness Dependable, organized, and able to work independently Strong sense of ownership and accountability Ability to work efficiently while maintaining quality standards Comfortable providing clear and respectful feedback to housekeeping team members Willingness to jump in and correct small issues rather than simply reporting them Comfortable using a smartphone, apps, digital checklists, and taking/uploading photos Reliable transportation and ability to travel between properties Ability to bend, lift, reach, climb stairs, and remain active throughout the workday Availability on weekends and holidays, particularly during peak vacation seasons Previous vacation rental, housekeeping, hotel, hospitality, property inspection, or quality-control experience is preferred If you're someone who notices what everyone else misses, we'd love to meet you.
