Job Description

Bethesda Assisted Living is seeking an experienced and highly organized Housekeeping & Environmental Services Manger to take ownership of cleanliness and housekeeping systems across our three Plant City communities. This is a hands-on leadership role. This person will personally clean resident rooms and common areas while also building the systems, schedules, supply organization, and accountability needed to keep all three communities consistently clean. This position is part of the Bethesda leadership team, reports directly to the Executive Director and owner, and participates in our 9:00 AM weekly leadership huddle.
Key Responsibilities:
Clean residents rooms, bathrooms, common areas, hallways, dining areas, and shared spaces. Maintain high cleanliness standards across all three communities. Organize and manage cleaning products, cleaning equipment, and inventory. Create cleaning schedules, check lists, and accountability systems. Make sure the communities remain clean even when you are not on-site. Train and guide staff on daily cleaning expectations. Identify and correct cleanliness, sanitation, and environmental concerns. Travel between our three Plant city communities. Assist with resident care giving when needed after appropriate training. Participate in the 9:00 AM weekday leadership huddle.
Qualifications required:
Professional housekeeping or environmental services experience required. Senior living, health care, hotel hospitality, or similar experience prefered. Reliable personal vehicle and valid driver's license required . Strong attention to detail, organization, and follow-through. Able to work independently and take ownership. Comfortable with hands on cleaning. Willing to assist residents and caregiver's when needed. Dependable and team-oriented.
Pay:
$16.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week

Do you have a reliable personal vehicle and valid driver's license and are you able to travel between three of our Plant city locations during your workday? Are you able to consistently attend a 9:00 AM weekday leadership huddle? Are you comfortable personally cleaning resident's rooms, bathrooms, and common areas? Are you willing to be trained to assist with resident's care giving when needed? Describe a system that you have used or created to keep a workplace consistently clean even when you were not physically present.
