Compensation:

$16 - $18 hourly

Responsibilities:

Oversee the housekeeping department budget, take inventory, and ensure there is a stock of adequate cleaning supplies Manage the daily tasks of the housekeeping department, including cleaning guest rooms and public areas Track of areas cleaned by room attendants and contact the front office to handle room damage or maintenance needs Hire and train housekeeping staff to perform cleaning duties and deliver customer satisfaction to our expectations Make sure all cleaning equipment is in good working condition and schedule repairs as needed

Qualifications:

Must possess excellent leadership, organizing, and customer service skills Strong understanding of environmental services (EVS) including cleaning processes and how to use a variety of cleaning supplies and equipment 3+ years of supervisory experience in housekeeping management as an executive housekeeper, housekeeping director, or other similar position Must have a high school diploma or the equivalent (GED) 2+ years of hospitality or guest services experience About Company The Candlewood Suites Athens hotel, conveniently located off US-78, is an optimal place for guests looking for a comfortable home away from home.
