Driver's License Full Job Description Position Summary:
Oversees and performs custodial/housekeeping duties, ensuring internal and external site upkeep. Duties and Responsibilities Coordinates Housekeeping schedules with those of other departments so that housekeeping is carried out with as little disruption as possible. Work plan and written schedules are developed which outline the tasks to be accomplished. Develops cycle cleaning, floor care and project plans which assure complete cleaning of assigned area on a regular basis. Serves as a job expert or organization resource in assigned areas. May supervise and/or direct the work of others. Cleans and straightens assigned areas (inside and outside of facility). Clearly communicates work assignments to staff; Provides methods/tools/time frame to accomplish tasks. Makes rounds regularly to assure cleanliness of assigned area, and to assure work is performed according to established guidelines. Ensures all departments, facility and other regulatory guidelines and standards are followed in all areas of responsibility. Ensures housekeeping and floor equipment is in good working condition. Maintains and stocks equipment and supplies as needed. Proposes solutions to a variety of problems (cleaning, interpretation of laws and manuals, managerial) showing knowledge and sound judgement. Completes tasks with assigned or expected timeframes and in a neat and orderly manner. Seeks/receptive to feedback from supervisor(s); Acts upon feedback in a positive manner Maintains confidentiality of patient information; Respects the privacy and dignity of others Interacts as a cooperative team member and teacher by helping and/or teaching even if not asked to do so. Is polite, friendly, and cooperative. Requests assistance in a timely manner when challenges prevent task completion. Observes required safety precautions in disposing of contaminated refuse Ensures exterior grounds are free of debris, trash, etc, particularly at Pavilion location. Coordinates and performs custodial duties at sites as assigned. Performs job duties with minimal supervision 24/7 on-call availability for custodial related issues at Pavilion location.
Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED AND One year of experience as a lead worked in related area of assignment OR High school diploma or GED and One year of experience at the lower-level Housekeeper 2 (FES041) or position equivalent.
