Responsibilities Assist the Housekeeping Supervisor in coordinating daily cleaning schedules and ensuring timely completion of tasks across all guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces Supervise and motivate housekeeping staff, providing clear guidance on cleaning procedures, safety protocols, and sanitation practices Conduct regular inspections to maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and safety standards in accordance with industry regulations and company policies Oversee custodial activities including industrial cleaning, laundry operations, and specialized sanitation tasks to ensure a hygienic environment Train new team members on proper cleaning techniques, safety regulations, and customer service expectations Manage inventory levels of cleaning supplies, equipment, and uniforms to support efficient operations Foster a positive team environment through effective communication, leadership, and conflict resolution skills Requirements Proven experience in custodial work or janitorial services within hospitality or commercial cleaning environments Demonstrated supervisory or team management experience in a cleaning or housekeeping setting Strong knowledge of sanitation standards, safety regulations, and cleaning & sanitation management practices Excellent communication skills for managerial interactions with staff and customer service interactions with guests Ability to lead by example in performing cleaning tasks such as industrial cleaning, laundry services, and general custodial duties Leadership qualities with the ability to motivate teams and manage multiple priorities effectively Familiarity with hospitality industry standards and a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards This role is perfect for motivated individuals eager to lead a dedicated team while ensuring exceptional cleanliness and guest satisfaction.
