Lead, motivate, and train housekeeping staff to uphold company standards for cleanliness, safety, and customer service. Monitor compliance with health and safety regulations, including sanitation protocols and safety procedures related to industrial and commercial cleaning. Conduct regular inspections of facilities to verify cleanliness levels, identify areas for improvement, and address any issues promptly. Manage inventory of cleaning supplies, equipment maintenance, and procurement to support smooth operational flow. Develop work schedules that optimize staffing levels based on occupancy or workload demands while maintaining team productivity. Foster a positive team environment through effective communication, leadership, and recognition of staff achievements. Skills Proven experience in custodial services or janitorial work with a strong understanding of cleaning and sanitation management. Demonstrated supervisory experience with team management skills essential for leading diverse housekeeping teams. Knowledge of industrial cleaning techniques, commercial cleaning standards, and hospitality industry requirements. Excellent managerial communication skills to effectively coordinate tasks and motivate staff. Strong customer service orientation with the ability to address guest or client concerns professionally. Familiarity with safety regulations related to custodial work, including proper use of cleaning chemicals and equipment. Leadership qualities that inspire teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement in housekeeping operations.
