Environmental Services Manager The Environmental Services Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of environmental services, including housekeeping, sanitation, and waste management, to ensure a clean, safe, and compliant healthcare environment. This role provides leadership, direction, and support to staff while ensuring adherence to infection prevention standards, regulatory requirements, and organizational policies. The Manager collaborates with clinical and administrative leaders to maintain high standards of environmental cleanliness, patient satisfaction, and operational efficiency. This position also supports staff development, performance management, quality improvement initiatives, and departmental budgeting and resource planning. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor s degree in healthcare administration, environmental services, business, or a related field required. Master's degree preferred. Three years of experience in environmental services, housekeeping, facilities operations, or related experience required. Experience in a healthcare setting preferred. Prior supervisory or management experience preferred. Knowledge of infection prevention practices, cleaning standards, and regulatory requirements in a healthcare environment. Knowledge or ability to learn staffing, scheduling, and performance management. Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Effective communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and respond to operational needs in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Office or similar systems. Certified Healthcare Environmental Services Professional (CHESP) preferred.
