Responsible for coordination of job duties and assignments during assigned shift. Acts as a liason between housekeeping needs and issues. Directs EVS aides where needed and coordinates job functions and requests. Performs housekeeping tasks as needed. Ensures that all services are delivered in accordance with the mission statement and SPIRIT values of Carroll Hospital.
REQUIREMENTS
Preferred High School Diploma Ability to read and write well enough to identify chemical agents, follow strict isolation procedures and complete paperwork adherent to the position at a level normally acquired through completion of high school Less than 2 years A minimum of one year of cleaning in a healthcare environment and supervisory experience preferred. Demonstrated ability to train others. Preferred
SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS
Ability to function appropriately in a team setting as an active team member. Excellent interpersonal skills, both written and verbal to effectively communicate housekeeping activities to patients, other departments and staff. Answer telephone calls and pages.
