Responsibilities Lead and supervise the housekeeping team to ensure all cleaning tasks are completed efficiently, thoroughly, and according to established standards. Develop and implement cleaning schedules, protocols, and sanitation procedures aligned with safety regulations and industry best practices. Train staff on proper cleaning techniques, safety procedures, equipment use, and customer service expectations. Monitor inventory levels of cleaning supplies and equipment; coordinate procurement to ensure uninterrupted operations. Conduct regular inspections of facilities to uphold cleanliness standards, identify areas for improvement, and address any sanitation concerns promptly. Enforce safety regulations within the team to prevent accidents or hazards, fostering a culture of safety awareness and accountability. Manage team schedules, assign duties, provide performance feedback, and promote a positive work environment through effective managerial communication. Qualifications Proven experience in custodial services, commercial cleaning, or hospitality housekeeping management with demonstrated supervisory responsibilities. Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, sanitation practices, safety regulations, and janitorial equipment operation. Experience in industrial or large-scale cleaning environments preferred; familiarity with laundry operations is a plus. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage teams effectively while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and customer service. Effective communication skills to coordinate with staff, vendors, and management seamlessly. Ability to prioritize tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting while adhering to safety protocols. Previous management or supervisory experience in custodial or housekeeping roles is highly desirable.
