In this role, you will oversee the daily operations of the housekeeping department, ensuring that all areas are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene. You will lead a team of housekeepers, providing guidance and support to ensure exceptional service is delivered consistently. Your expertise in cleaning and management will contribute significantly to our commitment to guest satisfaction in a hospitality environment. Duties Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of housekeeping staff, and Housemen ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively. Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces to ensure cleanliness and adherence to established standards. Train new housekeeping staff on cleaning procedures, safety protocols, and customer service expectations. Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, placing orders as necessary to maintain adequate stock levels. Address guest requests or complaints promptly and professionally, striving for resolution and satisfaction. Implement best practices for floor care, including carpet cleaning, tile maintenance, and other specialized cleaning techniques. Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and enhance overall guest experience. Experience Previous experience in housekeeping management or supervisory roles within the hospitality industry is preferred. Strong background in cleaning techniques, floor care methods, and industrial cleaning practices. Familiarity with janitorial procedures and custodial experience is a plus. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Strong leadership abilities with a focus on team development and motivation. Exceptional communication skills to effectively interact with guests and staff alike.
